High-quality after-school, early learning, and enrichment programs serving Thomasville and surrounding counties since 1998.
Since 1998, Thomasville Community Resource Center has been a place where children are nurtured, families are supported, and community comes together. Founded by local residents who saw a need for greater access to education, wellness, and family support, TCRC has grown into a trusted resource for families across Thomas and Grady counties. Through early learning, after-school programs, and wellness services, we are committed to helping every child and every family have the opportunity to grow, thrive, and succeed.
Rooted in Community. Focused on Education.

Family & Community Programs
Parent education, family support services, and community-based resources that strengthen households and promote long-term success.
We envision a community where every child is supported, every family is strengthened, and every neighborhood has the opportunity to thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is TCRC?
Thomasville Community Resource Center (TCRC) is a nonprofit organization committed to serving children and families through early learning, after-school programming, wellness support, and community-based services. Our goal is to help children grow, families feel supported, and communities thrive.
TCRC is located at 501 Varnedoe Street, Thomasville, GA.
TCRC offers a variety of programs and services designed to support children and families, including early learning, after-school programming, family support services, and other community-based resources. Program availability may vary by season, funding, and location.
How do I enroll my child in a program?
Enrolling your child is simple. You can contact our office by phone, visit us in person, or send an email to tcrc.receptionist@tcrc.community. A member of our team will guide you through the next steps, including program availability and any paperwork needed.
TCRC strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all children. Because every child’s needs are unique, we encourage families to contact us directly so we can learn more about their child and discuss whether our programs can provide the right level of support.
Do you provide transportation for children enrolled in after-school programs?
Transportation is provided for students from their school to our Varnedoe location. Transportation home after the program is not currently available, so all students must be picked up by a parent or guardian when the program ends. Students who participate in after-school programs at their schools must also be picked up by a parent or guardian. Families should contact our office for the most current transportation details, including pickup locations and eligibility.
Transportation is typically coordinated based on the child’s school and the after-school site. Transportation may be available to the after-school location, but transportation home after the program is not currently provided. We encourage families to contact our office directly for site-specific details and availability.
Do you assist with rent or utility payments?
TCRC does not provide direct assistance with rent or utility payments. However, we may be able to connect families with trusted community resources and partner agencies that provide help with rent, utilities, and other urgent needs. Assistance depends on current availability and referral options, so please contact us directly for guidance.
Do you offer resources for families in need?
Yes. TCRC works to support the whole family by connecting parents and caregivers with helpful resources, supportive services, and community partners that may assist with education, wellness, and other family needs. While we do not provide direct monetary assistance, we do connect families with agencies that may be able to help.
